About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the Medication Delivery Solutions value-added clinical business strategy
- Implement clinical programs and initiatives differentiating the MDS product portfolio through improved clinical outcomes and process enhancements
- Enhance the credibility of recommendations to customers and strengthen customer service and support
- Engage in conversion management, product implementation, and training on Medication Delivery Solutions products
- Collaborate with the Regional Team to ensure clinically effective sales and conversion management from pre-validation through retention
- Build relationships with end-users and provide product in-servicing and clinical education
- Facilitate customer training classes for conversion or retention of key customers
- Collaborate with the Sales Team on key account management strategy sessions
- Manage per diem nurses
- Train and mentor contract nursing staff and identify high-potential nurses for Clinical Specialist roles
- Conduct VAM assessments supporting Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales bags
- Provide monthly updates to the Clinical Manager on regional training activities and support
- Participate in trade shows to promote product lines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico (preferred) or El Paso, Texas
- Minimum Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum five (5) years of general clinical experience
- Three (3) years of hands-on experience specializing in ultrasound for vascular access device insertion required
- Strong understanding and knowledge of infusion therapy, vascular access, and key disease states served by MDS products required
- Able to travel up to 80% to conduct initial and ongoing training
- Valid state-issued driver's license with three years of consecutive driving history
- Must meet BD's auto safety standards
- Proven training skills preferred
