About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support federal government contracting activities throughout the contract lifecycle, including solicitations, contract awards, modifications, reporting, and closeout
- Assist with solicitation responses through document preparation, stakeholder coordination, and proposal support activities
- Process contract modifications, administrative updates, extensions, and closeout requests
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, records, and data within contract management systems
- Track contractual obligations, reporting requirements, and key deliverables
- Provide timely support to internal stakeholders and customers by responding to routine contract-related inquiries and facilitating issue resolution
- Support audits, reporting activities, and documentation requests
- Recognize potential contractual, operational, or process concerns and escalate issues for review and resolution
- Support collection and reporting of contract-related data and operational metrics
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and utilize approved digital tools and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required and 3 years of experience in contract management, contracting operations, business operations, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills
- Ability to interpret contractual requirements and follow established business processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organization
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business applications
- Experience working with contract management systems, CRM platforms, or similar business tools
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Preferred: Experience supporting federal government contracts
- Preferred: Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and government contracting principles
- Preferred: Experience supporting contract modifications, reporting activities, solicitation responses, or contract administration functions
- Preferred: Experience using Salesforce, CLM platforms, or similar systems
- Preferred: Experience supporting audits, reporting, or documentation management activities
- Preferred: Exposure to process improvement initiatives, automation tools, or business process technologies
