About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business objectives
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans
- Provide financial business partnering to functional leaders
- Offer insights and recommendations to drive performance and achieve financial targets
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS and company policies
- Conduct variance analysis and propose corrective actions
- Oversee and optimize financial processes, systems, and internal controls
- Support strategic initiatives including business case development, M&A due diligence, and integration activities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles or finance roles only
- Experience communicating complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proficient Excel skills
- Financial modeling experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Preferred: MBA or CPA
- Preferred: Experience using SAP, Hyperion, and/or Power BI
- Preferred: Experience in a product versus service industry
- Preferred: Medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience
