About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide a high-performing sales team across a defined geographic region
- Drive strategic business outcomes and foster an accountable, inclusive culture
- Develop talent through coaching and mentorship
- Serve as a liaison between field teams and cross-functional partners
- Lead talent acquisition and onboarding
- Deliver adaptive, individualized coaching
- Identify growth opportunities and create development plans
- Guide team members in navigating Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
- Balance clinical leadership with sales execution
- Collaborate with IDN stakeholders to align regional strategies with enterprise goals
- Use data analytics and Salesforce to track trends, forecast performance, and identify growth opportunities
- Build actionable business plans with success metrics
- Set expectations and hold teams accountable through feedback and performance reviews
- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute regional strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA preferred
- Minimum 8 years of related sales experience within the medical device industry
- Minimum 2 years of management or related experience
- Experience managing new product launches and complex sales processes for critical care products in the medical device space, focused on major surgery and intensive care
- Management experience within the medical device arena, including Critical Care and Vascular products in various healthcare settings
- Skills in leadership, coaching, budgeting, negotiating, selling, and strategic planning
- Experience managing both Capital and Disposables
- Strong business, financial, creative, strategic, analytical, and competitive skills
- Ability to provide strategic input to cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Concur, Microsoft Office, and web conferencing tools
- Willingness or ability to collaborate face-to-face in person
