About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a senior leader within agile teams, owning the stability and evolution of the AEM and SAP Commerce Cloud eCommerce platform
Act as the eCommerce ecosystem subject matter expert for content, catalog, search, checkout, and order management
Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements with cross-functional stakeholders
Lead solution design and architecture discussions with Business Partners, Product Owners, and system integrators
Provide strategic direction across requirements, solution design, development oversight, testing, and deployment governance
Own and influence the eCommerce product and technology roadmap
Drive alignment across business, IT, and external partners for integrated solutions across enterprise platforms
Oversee complex system integrations and platform dependencies across ERP, PIM, middleware, search, and backend systems
Establish development and delivery governance for code quality, version control, testing, and release management
Lead platform optimization and performance initiatives
Champion enhancement and defect intake, validation, and prioritization
Advise senior business and IT leadership on digital commerce trends, platform capabilities, and architecture
Mentor junior team members and technical contributors
Lead production support and incident management, including root cause analysis, performance tuning, and monitoring
Create and maintain technical design artifacts, standards, and reusable frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
Minimum of 3 years of eCommerce experience
8–10 years of digital commerce platforms experience
Experience delivering scalable eCommerce solutions in B2B/B2C environments
Experience working in Agile delivery models
Experience integrating with ERP, PIM, and middleware systems
Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
Strong understanding of headless commerce and API integrations
Ability to lead solution architecture and technical decisions
Strong communication skills translating technical concepts to business value
Experience with DevOps, version control, and release management
Experience with AEM and SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) preferred
Leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work remotely with the workplace arrangement indicated in the posting
