About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams on robotic product improvements and new designs from concept through production
  • Complete design, prototyping, build, verification, validation, and certification activities
  • Support the R&D global technical team on multiple projects in parallel
  • Improve quality and reliability of current and future Pharmacy Automation products
  • Design manufacturing test setups and write test applications
  • Develop tools for system diagnostics and monitoring
  • Support existing board designs
  • Create, update, and release technical documentation
  • Provide electrical support for regulatory certification efforts across multiple product lines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of applicable experience
  • Knowledge of motion control, AC power electronics, motors and controls, sensors, servo systems, and embedded control systems
  • Proficiency with LabView and/or LabWindows CVI for test automation
  • Familiarity with Altium PCB development environment or similar EE design package
  • System-level electrical architecture experience
  • Ability to build prototype printed circuit board assemblies and cables
  • Experience obtaining and maintaining regulatory certification for products complying with UL-61010 or UL-60601, CE, and TuV
  • Experience obtaining EMI/EMC certification
