About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a defined portfolio of Advanced Patient Monitoring customers
  • Broaden patient reach and drive greater utilization of APM technologies across care settings
  • Manage and grow relationships with large-scale healthcare organizations, including integrated delivery networks and major hospital systems
  • Call on anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine professionals, and EP Labs
  • Promote FloTrac Sensor, ClearSight cuff, Acumen IQ cuff/sensors, and ForeSight products
  • Drive business growth within new and existing accounts by identifying opportunities and closing deals
  • Analyze performance gaps and execute short-term regional strategies to meet sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for complex healthcare systems
  • Explain APM product features relative to competitor offerings and influence buying decisions
  • Build productive internal and external relationships with relevant customer contacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 3+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Clinical background
  • Medical devices industry experience
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
  • Strong enterprise-level selling skills
  • Travel up to 40% (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products
  • Understanding of BU strategy, selling model, medical devices industry, and regional selling environment
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders, including C-suite executives and administrative leadership
  • Ability to navigate multi-layered decision-making structures within large hospitals and IDNs
  • Understanding of assigned accounts and their challenges
  • Understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to APM medical products
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to complex healthcare systems
  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to explain APM product features compared to competitor offerings
  • Ability to build productive internal and external relationships with relevant customer contacts
  • Influencing skills on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy
