About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent BD Peripheral Intervention in the Women’s Health setting and attain sales objectives
  • Sell the entire Women’s Health Biopsy portfolio to current and new accounts
  • Establish solid working relationships with key customers at strategic accounts to create market share conversion
  • Demonstrate clinical competence and knowledge of the Women’s Health industry
  • Conduct product evaluations to increase BD’s market share
  • Understand and demonstrate the contractual landscape
  • Inform customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies
  • Deliver comprehensive product in-services to relevant individuals
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with department managers, purchasing, and procurement
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to drive impact through relationships
  • Plan sales calls continuously and manage sales time effectively
  • Develop thorough knowledge of products and clinical data
  • Inform the District Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity
  • Resolve customer complaints with prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions
  • Analyze customer needs and create solutions
  • Complete BD Peripheral Intervention reports, including sales summaries, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 or more years of proven success in Sales required, preferably within the Women’s Health Industry
  • Medical device sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated human relations and communication skills
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards
  • Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BD Women’s Health products preferred
  • Surgical procedure knowledge adequate to illustrate product benefits
  • Basic anatomy knowledge
  • Medical and surgical terminology knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
