About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-quality client service to the BDC Financing team
  • Resolve basic client questions and inform senior levels of complex cases
  • Support the business development team and business center manager
  • Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to existing and potential clients
  • Prepare client letters, letters of intent, letters of offer, mandates, proposals, and contracts
  • Enter accurate information into the system and ensure required documents, conditions, forms, signatures, and follow-up are completed
  • Identify funding opportunities and develop innovative value-adding solutions for client needs
  • Conduct pre-qualification and risk rating assessments for existing and potential BDC Financing clients
  • Organize branch marketing events, campaigns, and activities
  • Prepare marketing communications and provide on-site logistical support
  • Perform administrative tasks and provide support to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, College diploma in accounting or an attestation of college studies
  • Between 1 to 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with payables and receivables is considered an asset
  • Client service orientation and demonstrated ability to demonstrate initiative in listening, identifying sales opportunities and resolving issues
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deal with various situations at all times
  • Ability to communicate effectively through email and in person, including during meetings
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Teamwork, creativity, flexibility, collaborative spirit and desire to work as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note, Teams)
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license may be required
  • Bilingualism in French and English is a requirement
  • Position requires working in an office environment a minimum 3 days per week
