Collections Specialist – Transition Assignment, Fractional Role

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and analyze the customer aging report
- Conduct amicable customer follow-ups by phone, email, and letter
- Identify and monitor billing disputes with operational teams and partners
- Ensure follow-up on payment commitments and implement appropriate collection actions
- Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming payments
- Contribute to improving DSO and performance indicators
- Prepare reports and contribute to collection review meetings
- Recommend improvements to accounts receivable management processes
- Work on client sites as part of operational fractional-role or transition-management assignments
- Maintain regular communication with the finance team and report to an internal assignment manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Higher education qualification such as a BTS in Accounting and Management, DUT in Business and Administration Management, or equivalent (two- or three-year post-secondary qualification)
- Minimum 4–6 years of successful experience in collections, sales administration, or accounts receivable
- Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Proficiency with business software such as Kyriba, AGICAP, or SlideTrade
- Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Detail-oriented, organized, persistent, and able to manage priorities
- Team spirit and a strong service orientation
- Professional English proficiency is an advantage for this position
