About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop features for web applications (front end and back end) under the guidance of the technical team
Participate in the development and deployment lifecycle, following agile methodologies, including ceremonies, planning, and delivery tracking
Write clean, well-organized code that adheres to the architectural standards and best practices defined by the team
Create and execute unit tests and support integration testing
Fix bugs and support the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications
Document code and developed features
Participate in code reviews, receiving and applying feedback to further develop technical skills
Support the development and maintenance of web applications in collaboration with more experienced developers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed or ongoing degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or a degree in Systems Analysis and Development or Internet Systems
Up to 2 years of experience developing web applications, including internships, academic projects, or personal projects
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Knowledge of ReactJS and/or NextJS
Knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Familiarity with APIs and Web Services (REST)
Familiarity with code version control (Git)
Eagerness to learn, proactivity, and ability to work well in a team
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (a plus)
Familiarity with microservices and design patterns (a plus)
Exposure to agile methodologies: Scrum, XP, and Kanban (a plus)
Exposure to code quality best practices, such as TDD (a plus)
Additional courses in web technologies (a plus)
Technical English for reading documentation (a plus)
