About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the clinical and operational implementation of Beacon's diagnostic solutions for assigned customers from contract pre-signature through sustained daily use
- Deliver demos, build implementation plans, run clinical education and training, support go-lives, and coach accounts through post-launch adoption
- Own end-to-end implementation execution, including kickoff, project planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, stabilization, and transition to steady-state support
- Provide virtual and on-site clinical support throughout implementation
- Design implementation plans covering clinical workflows, staffing, order and result routing, patient communication, and administrative processes
- Coordinate resources across Customer Success, Clinical, Technical Services, Support, and Product
- Deliver audience-specific training and demos and maintain reusable training materials, guides, and competency checklists
- Track adoption outcomes, utilization, ordering patterns, turnaround, and workflow adherence; deliver refresher training as needed
- Diagnose causes of low or inconsistent usage and drive corrective action
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to redesign workflows and connect usage data to customer goals
- Serve as the clinical operational point of contact through pre-sale, implementation, and early adoption
- Act as the clinical subject matter expert on sleep testing workflows and home sleep apnea testing
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers on handoffs, QBRs, renewal or expansion discussions, and adoption risk identification
- Provide Product with implementation feedback, identify friction points, propose scalable solutions, and support go-to-market readiness
- Mentor and coach peers and newer specialists and build team templates and playbooks
- Plan multi-quarter priorities for the clinical implementation function and represent it in cross-team planning
- Initiate improvement projects addressing process, tooling, or enablement gaps
- Adhere to regulatory, compliance, quality, and privacy standards for medical devices and SaMD, including HIPAA; support audits and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active RPSGT certification
- 8+ years of direct experience in sleep medicine, sleep lab operations, or home sleep apnea testing
- Demonstrated experience owning demos, customer implementations, clinical training, or go-live support in healthcare settings
- Experience delivering training and education to both clinical and administrative audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, and Product teams
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching peers, and setting standards or best practices adopted beyond your own work
- Experience planning work across multiple quarters and multiple stakeholder groups
- Willingness to travel nationally (up to ~50-75%), including on-site go-live support
- Familiarity with CRM tools, enablement platforms, and project tracking tools
- US-based, anchored in the West territory
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR exposure a plus)
- Experience supporting SaMD or regulated medical device products (nice-to-have)
- Prior experience at an early- or growth-stage healthcare company (nice-to-have)
- Experience building a function's playbooks, templates, or training curricula from the ground up (nice-to-have)
