About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development of React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android
  • Design and implement UX workflows for clinical trial participants and at-home diagnostic patients
  • Own user experience, performance, reliability, and observability of apps and features
  • Use feedback from real users across diverse use cases and environments
  • Work with native iOS and Android BLE device SDKs to integrate device capabilities
  • Partner with Devices, Platform, and product design teams
  • Help shape the roadmap and technical direction of the mobile platform
  • Build in-app features to validate EEG signal quality before data capture
  • Streamline onboarding for patients and trial participants
  • Deploy features helping Clinical Operations track compliance
  • Improve app performance, release reliability, and crash/telemetry visibility across the Expo-based build pipeline

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in mobile development, including substantial experience shipping and maintaining production React Native apps on both iOS and Android
  • Strong TypeScript skills and familiarity with React Native, Expo, and GitHub
  • Experience with app state management, offline-first data handling, and app store release processes
  • Product mindset with attention to UX, edge cases, and performance
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, async environment
  • Candidates must be based in the US Eastern time zone
