About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the roadmap and day-to-day product decisions for Beacon's clinician- and site-facing web application
- Drive major development milestones for the next generation of Beacon's web applications
- Shape product direction and turn it into quarterly execution plans
- Represent the product with external users and internal clinical, scientific, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders
- Build knowledge of clinicians, sleep technicians, site coordinators, investigators, and sponsor teams to inform the roadmap
- Manage a product serving diagnostic and clinical trial workflows, balancing shared and specialized functionality
- Coordinate the web experience with devices, data pipelines, ML models, and other software products
- Create quarterly product roadmaps and clear executable requirements
- Collaborate with software engineers, product designers, data science, and machine-learning teams
- Conduct usability tests and user interviews
- Deliver product requirements through formal design controls in a regulated environment using tools such as Ketryx
- Balance customer and stakeholder needs and manage external client-facing product demos
- Communicate project progress, tradeoffs, and risks to stakeholders
- Report to the Manager, Web Applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years of experience managing web-based software products
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- Experience working on highly technical products, such as data platforms, analytics products, or machine-learning-enabled applications
- Experience working across engineering, design, and non-technical stakeholders, and balancing competing priorities among them
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or biotech is strongly preferred
- Experience developing regulated software under design control, such as software as a medical device or clinical trial systems, is strongly preferred
- Experience designing for clinicians, clinical sites, or other expert-users is a plus
- Comfort and enthusiasm for using modern tools for AI-assisted drafting, analysis, and rapid prototyping
