About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver a seamless and high-quality member experience
- Identify, diagnose, and address members’ consumer financial needs
- Refer members to specialized services when necessary
- Serve as a subject matter expert in specialized financial services
- Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales across business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts
- Sign line and loan documents originating through outbound/inbound call center
- Assist the community with financial wellness, including financial education, budgeting, debt management, and access to financial planning resources
- Work across all POD branches for up to the first year or more based on business needs
- Attend 12 weeks of Monday–Friday training at the Tukwila Financial Center
- Adapt to varying schedules and branch assignments
- Work variable Monday–Friday shifts and up to 3 Saturdays per month
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment
- One year of experience in a financial institution
- Spanish language fluency highly desirable
- Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently
- Strong proficiency and comfort level with learning new systems and programs; ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to successfully complete 12-week in-house training program after hire
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Credit Union key objectives, product and service solutions
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to membership, deposit, and loan products and services offered
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to enable daily communication with Members
- Problem resolution, negotiating, organization, multi-tasking and peer coaching skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to commute between branches and training location
