About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with manufacturing teams across Milk, Milk based beverages and Yoghurt operations to identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver projects that enhance safety, quality, service, cost and productivity
- Use data-driven insights and structured problem-solving techniques to drive operational performance
- Support implementation of improvement initiatives
- Build continuous improvement capability across sites
- Work hands-on with site teams to embed best practice and deliver sustainable results
- Work across the Bega Group network and travel frequently to Regional VIC and Western Sydney
- Drive initiatives from planning through implementation and sustainment
- Identify opportunities, drive change and deliver sustainable results across manufacturing operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience in Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Data-driven approach with ability to analyse performance trends and identify improvement opportunities
- Skilled in project delivery, from planning through implementation and sustainment
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels
- Practical manufacturing experience in fast-paced and changing environments
- Proven experience delivering measurable operational improvement projects and sustainable business outcomes
- Strong capability in analysing data and using insights to identify improvement opportunities
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and/or other Operational Excellence frameworks
- Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing
- Willingness to travel to sites across Australia
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and experience with data analysis and visualisation tools highly regarded
- Must complete a pre-employment medical
- Must hold a current Australian driver's license
- Must have the right to live and work in Australia
