About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver reporting, analysis, and controlling activities for the relevant Business Unit or Plant
- Maintain relationships with the SSC/ARC Manager and BU/Plant counterparts
- Develop understanding of manufacturing processes and work with plant functional teams to improve financial performance
- Drive standard costing and margin analysis activities
- Calculate transfer prices and review local transport fees and duties
- Maintain SAP master data and coordinate corrections with Production and Planning teams
- Calculate activity rates and update SAP cost tables
- Maintain standard costs for materials and prepare cost calculations for budgets, forecasts, audits, and new product introductions
- Support controlling activities, working capital monitoring, inventory valuation, SAP postings, and Capex tracking
- Collaborate with Operations, Stores, Procurement, Maintenance, Sales, and other stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, period-end closing, financial reporting, and analysis
- Prepare performance reports and provide actionable financial insights
- Monitor Capex projects, CWIP, SGA expenses, and budget adherence
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting requirements
- Review internal controls and compliance with SOPs
- Conduct expense analysis and promote cost-control and cost-reduction initiatives
- Support automation, optimization, and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree majoring in accounting or finance
- Professional qualification like Cost Accountants preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of SAP, Group Reporting, Central Finance (CFIN), SAP Analytical Cloud (SAC), and SAP Fiori
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial function operations
- Expert in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in Power BI and Analysis for Office preferred
- Experience within an SAP environment and automation/digitalization is an advantage
