About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate and maintain production machinery to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe manufacturing
Conduct safety risk and hazard inspections, report issues, and take immediate emergency measures
Follow safety operating procedures and correctly wear personal protective equipment
Use fire-fighting equipment and follow emergency plans
Execute workplace 5S management standards
Report safety incidents immediately and take emergency measures
Execute safety systems including PtW, LSR, and ITS
Verify production processes comply with quality procedures and settings, and implement corrective actions
Manage on-site materials, including labeling and placement, according to quality requirements
Check production records and tracking forms, including diameter tracking and production inspection/tracking sheets
Stop shipment or production to correct quality issues and identify and control potentially nonconforming products
Record production quality issues, assist with root-cause analysis, and support improvements
Operate production equipment according to SOPs
Monitor equipment status and adjust parameters to maintain product quality and production efficiency
Complete daily production tasks and meet output and yield targets
Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues on cross-process or team tasks
Attend performance dialogue meetings and report production progress, issues, and suggestions
Participate in skills training and learn new technologies or processes
Execute work according to DILO/WILO requirements
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in operating and maintaining production machinery
Familiarity with operating and maintaining production machinery
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues
High level of accuracy in monitoring and inspecting products
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods
