About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming spare parts and materials specific to wire and rope production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
  • Issue spare parts to maintenance and production teams as needed.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder parts to prevent shortages.
  • Organize and label parts for easy identification and access.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of parts.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the spare parts storage area.
  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Experience in storekeeping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory software and basic computer skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in equipment.
  • Forklift certification (if applicable).
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
