About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the early-career recruitment strategy for Belvedere Trading's Trading Department and influence future campus recruiting cycles
- Represent Belvedere at collegiate trading competitions, poker tournaments, industry networking events, campus visits, and virtual open houses
- Foster relationships with campus trading groups, investment clubs, quantitative/finance student organizations, academic programs, faculty, program directors, and alumni groups
- Build pipelines for quantitative trading and trading-adjacent talent
- Manage the full-cycle campus recruiting process from application through Super Day and offer stage, in partnership with People Operations on engagement and onboarding
- Partner with Trading hiring managers to understand skill and market needs and translate them into sourcing and candidate evaluation strategies
- Present internship programs and early trading talent development paths
- Analyze engagement efforts and the return on strategic recruiting partnerships
- Provide a high-touch candidate and hiring-manager experience while articulating Belvedere's core values
- Evaluate recruiting results and identify opportunities for process improvement, systematization, and automation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of recruitment experience, preferably with intern, entry-level, and early career talent pools in fintech, professional services, and financial firms
- Ability to manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including resume review, phone screens, interview scheduling and facilitation, and offer calls
- Demonstrated success recruiting at multiple universities in highly competitive markets, ideally within quantitative trading, proprietary trading, or finance
- Comfort engaging with quantitative and markets-adjacent concepts, including probability, statistics, and game theory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed during peak campus recruiting periods in fall and spring, including to trading competitions and conferences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, meet deadlines, and facilitate change with a sense of urgency
- Proven analytical, organizational, decision-making, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Eagerness to take on new tasks and responsibilities, with passion for candidate experience, operational excellence, and continuous development
- Experience coordinating and participating in in-person and virtual recruiting events and activities
- Comfort working with and presenting recruitment data and market data, reporting, and analytics
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Regular and reliable attendance during standard business hours; occasional nights and weekends
- Ability to sit and concentrate for long periods and lift 30 pounds
