About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Perform electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors
  • Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems
  • Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related fixtures
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and miscellaneous equipment
  • Maintain the hotel's preventative maintenance program
  • Keep records and logs of completed tasks according to company policy and procedures
  • Prepare and submit reports and logs requested by supervisors in a timely manner
  • Work closely with team members to support hotel operations and guest experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort
  • Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
  • Engaging and welcoming personality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, and push/pull throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
