About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of broker relationships to deliver profitable and sustainable growth
  • Drive new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, pipeline management and targeted broker engagement
  • Identify, qualify and refer high-quality opportunities to the wider sales team
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused sales experience to win, retain and grow business within Ansvar's risk appetite
  • Take ownership of renewal activity for the broker panel, achieving retention, growth and profitability targets
  • Support Key Account Managers in managing and developing larger broker accounts
  • Build understanding of broker businesses and key decision-makers to identify opportunities for Ansvar, Ecclesiastical and the wider Benefact Group solutions
  • Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to deliver exceptional service, effective risk selection and profitable outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Market, Industry and Company knowledge
  • Appropriate IT skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of effective stakeholder management within a commercial environment
  • Qualified Dip CII or commitment to achieve within an agreed timescale
  • Experience of broker relationship management within Sales or Underwriting
