About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide a proactive and responsive renewal service to retain clients at renewal
- Promote key selling features and liaise effectively with insurers
- Build strong relationships with commercial clients and understand their businesses and insurance requirements
- Provide tailored insurance advice and solutions
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, policy administration and client queries
- Work closely with insurers and the in-house underwriting team to negotiate terms and secure suitable cover
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and maximise business growth
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintain client satisfaction and retention
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous general insurance experience, preferably within Commercial insurance
- Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance qualification
- Confidence and capability of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload with attention to detail
- Proactive and positive approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine desire to help clients and focus on contributing to business growth
- Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Insurance is a distinguishing qualification, or willingness to work towards it
