About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a portfolio of Benepass's highest-value consulting and brokerage relationships
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with the Head of Strategic Alliances
  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders, innovation leaders, practice leaders, and regional leadership
  • Identify and cultivate new strategic partnerships
  • Develop strategies to increase consultant-generated pipeline and enterprise revenue
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Leadership on consultant-influenced opportunities and enterprise pursuits
  • Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • Negotiate preferred vendor agreements and strategic partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, webinars, thought leadership, and field enablement
  • Develop education strategies for consulting partners
  • Represent Benepass at industry conferences, executive meetings, and partner events
  • Expand Benepass's influence across consultant organizations and regional offices
  • Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback internally
  • Partner with Product on emerging market needs and consultant feedback
  • Collaborate with Customer Success on consultant-managed customers
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Success
  • Own partnership performance against pipeline and revenue goals
  • Develop quarterly business plans and success metrics
  • Present partnership performance, market trends, and recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8-10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, consultant relations, business development, and/or enterprise sales
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level relationships that drive measurable business growth
  • Deep understanding of the employee benefits ecosystem, including consultants, brokers, carriers, or HR technology
  • Experience developing and executing strategic partnership plans with measurable business outcomes
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of influencing pipeline and revenue
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40%
  • Existing relationships with leaders at firms such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, Gallagher, Lockton, or similar organizations
  • Experience working at a high-growth SaaS, fintech, HR technology, or employee benefits company
  • Experience working at a national consulting or brokerage firm
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, lifestyle spending accounts, pre-tax benefits, or health benefits administration
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Google Workspace, and modern sales technologies
  • Must be based in the U.S.
  • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship is required to work legally in the United States
