About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Benevity’s most complex RFx responses from kickoff through submission
Partner with Sales on win themes and positioning
Write and submit standard RFx responses alongside the team as needed
Write client-specific executive summaries, cover letters and solution narratives
Complete detailed questionnaires with subject matter experts
Use Strategic Market Intelligence insights to sharpen differentiation
Manage RFx intake and triage
Make bid/no-bid recommendations and prioritize team workload
Lead final reviews for compliance, accuracy, consistency and brand voice
Own the structure and governance of the RFx content library in Loopio
Work with subject matter experts to keep library content current
Improve proposal processes, templates and tools, including AI-assisted drafting
Share lessons learned from wins and losses
Coach other writers on writing, structure and strategy
Support Sales with demos, follow-up questions and custom collateral
Report to the Manager, Strategic Market Intelligence & Proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience writing and managing RFx responses, ideally for B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
Track record of owning complex, high-value proposals from start to finish
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Ability to make complex information clear and concise
Ability to develop win strategies and position Benevity against client needs
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple RFx deadlines simultaneously
Experience building or managing a proposal content library in Loopio or similar RFx software
Experience with Salesforce, Google Drive, Adobe and procurement sourcing platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa or Scout
Ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
Experience mentoring, coaching or reviewing other writers
Comfort using AI tools while maintaining quality
Knowledge of SaaS, cloud software, cybersecurity and global privacy compliance is an asset
Familiarity with corporate social responsibility, social impact, employee giving and volunteering, or grants management is an asset
