About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Product Marketers
  • Create tailored development plans aligned with career goals and company objectives
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews
  • Define and prioritize the team roadmap across product launches, sales enablement, and demand generation
  • Standardize PMM workflows for launch tiering, messaging frameworks, and competitive intelligence
  • Remove internal stakeholder hurdles and advocate for the PMM function at leadership level
  • Communicate team impact, resource needs, and strategic wins to the executive team
  • Liaise between Product, Sales, and Marketing to align output with growth strategy
  • Own end-to-end messaging and go-to-market strategy for the Benevity Enterprise Impact Platform
  • Guide team execution across product marketing areas
  • Direct research into market trends and persona development
  • Apply insights to sales playbooks and go-to-market planning
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success leadership on positioning
  • Provide Voice of Customer insights to product management
  • Collaborate with website, content, and demand generation teams to extend product messaging throughout the buyer and client journey

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience
  • At least 4+ years of direct people management or team leadership experience
  • Ideally experience in B2B SaaS
  • Player-coach mindset, combining strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • Proven ability to lead through complexity and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence at the executive level and mentor junior team members
  • Analytical, data-driven and emotionally intelligent approach to marketing
  • Outstanding presentation and business writing skills
  • Previous experience with CSR, social impact, or nonprofits is a bonus
