About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Developer Experience and SDLC technical direction across domains, enabling AI-DLC and agentic automation
  • Design and scale agentic systems that accelerate the full software development lifecycle
  • Integrate AI into engineering practice while maintaining human judgment and security oversight
  • Drive reusable, extendable developer-platform architecture using public cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Principal Architects on organizational DevX and AI-DLC strategy
  • Translate business needs into adoptable platform solutions with stakeholders
  • Solve cross-cutting challenges involving development environments, CI/CD supply chains, authentication, and quality gates
  • Diagnose friction and drive adoption of tools, shared components, and organizational standards
  • Build DevSecOps practices and cloud-native security into the delivery stack
  • Create technical documentation, enablement guides, and implementation processes
  • Develop proofs of concept for platform, agentic, and product advancement
  • Mentor senior developers through practical examples and constructive feedback
  • Participate in architectural reviews for inclusive design, quality, and consistency
  • Report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate with Principal Architects, Staff Developers, Security, and product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven hands-on experience in Developer Experience (DevX), including building internal developer platforms (IDPs), golden-path templates, automated quality gates, and shared engineering component libraries
  • 8+ years of scalable software development experience with software design accountability
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership role driving org-wide platform capabilities or engineering productivity
  • Expertise in scaling Developer Experience, SDLC tooling, or modern engineering productivity systems
  • Hands-on background with AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and LLM tooling
  • Deep commitment to secure, ethical delivery practices and fostering an inclusive engineering culture
  • Strong grasp of core cloud infrastructure and scaling technical solutions across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose team friction, influence workflows, and drive tool adoption
  • Solid understanding of API-first design, loosely coupled systems, and modern software architecture
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps practices, and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience coding in Python and/or Java, with familiarity with FastAPI or Spring Boot
  • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or GCP; Azure experience is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills to align product, architecture, security, and engineering teams
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous problems with a bias toward shipping measurable, user-friendly improvements
  • Background integrating engineering systems such as Jira, CI, and observability into cohesive workflows
