About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead client engagements involving cybersecurity and AI maturity assessments and strategic roadmaps using NIST, CIS, and CRI frameworks
  • Lead cybersecurity strategy, operating model, and transformation programs
  • Advise on cyber and AI risk governance, executive and board reporting
  • Lead third-party cyber and AI risk management initiatives
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex cybersecurity and AI risk programs, with accountability for scope, schedule, resources, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Deliver cyber resilience, incident preparedness, and executive tabletop exercises
  • Conduct cybersecurity and AI benchmarking assessments
  • Perform cyber risk quantification and business-impact analysis
  • Translate complex technical and risk findings into executive-level insights, business implications, and board-ready recommendations
  • Build and deepen client relationships through technical credibility and strategic thinking
  • Originate opportunities, contribute to proposals and pursuit activity, develop proposals and SOWs, and contribute to revenue growth
  • Scope and shape new cybersecurity, technology risk, and AI risk engagements with BRG leaders
  • Mentor consulting staff and contribute to coaching and team development
  • Develop repeatable client offerings, methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property to strengthen delivery and business development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or enterprise risk consulting
  • Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements or complex cybersecurity/risk programs
  • Demonstrated understanding of emerging AI governance, risk, and control requirements
  • Experience designing or implementing AI governance or control frameworks is preferred, including NIST AI RMF, CRI FS AI RMF, or ISO/IEC 42001
  • Experience managing client relationships and communicating with senior executive stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or another relevant advanced security or risk certification is preferred
  • Experience within a Big 4 firm, specialist cybersecurity consultancy, or comparable advisory firm is preferred
  • Experience scoping and proposing cybersecurity and AI risk engagements with demonstrated contribution to business development and sales is preferred
  • Track record of delivering enterprise cybersecurity transformations, large-scale governance programs, or risk-management implementations is preferred
  • Experience presenting cybersecurity or technology-risk issues to executive leadership and boards/board committees is preferred
  • Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S. or Canada, without company sponsorship
