About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex projects across BRG’s global workplace portfolio
  • Own programs improving capital planning and project delivery
  • Manage office expansions, relocations, renovations, and portfolio analysis
  • Act as owner’s representative from market surveys and site selection through design, construction, commissioning, occupancy, furniture, workplace technology, and relocations
  • Direct architects, engineers, contractors, and other project providers
  • Lead procurement, bid evaluations, scope development, and vendor negotiations
  • Coordinate local market, regulatory, procurement, technology, security, and building-system requirements
  • Manage operational handoff and closeout, including readiness checks, as-built documents, warranties, final accounts, and landlord obligations
  • Lead portfolio-planning initiatives using headcount forecasts and utilization data
  • Develop business cases comparing capacity, occupancy cost, capital requirements, and delivery risks
  • Own capital plans, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, commitments, and variance reporting
  • Develop budgeting tools, estimating templates, cost benchmarks, forecasting, and reporting processes with Finance and IT
  • Maintain integrated views of concurrent projects, dependencies, resource conflicts, and risks
  • Apply approval checkpoints and change-control procedures
  • Partner with office leaders, Finance, and the Head of Workplace Portfolio to prioritize needs and sequence project plans
  • Present recommendations and progress to executive audiences
  • Own workplace project standards, governance, playbooks, templates, procedures, RFPs, and procurement practices
  • Lead value-engineering, sourcing, post-project reviews, vendor-performance measurement, and savings initiatives
  • Mentor team members in financial analysis and executive communication
  • Coordinate lease, critical-date, occupancy, and cost reporting
  • Lead workplace ESG, sustainability, GHG savings analysis, and reporting initiatives
  • Lead strategic process-improvement initiatives and measure cost, cycle-time, quality, and risk results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in workplace, corporate real estate, architecture, construction, interior design, facilities, or related project management fields
  • Demonstrated delivery of complex commercial office projects and concurrent initiatives across multiple locations
  • Strong command of capital planning, forecasting, procurement, construction documentation, and project controls
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including scenario modeling and presenting concise recommendations to senior leadership
  • Evidence of improving delivery standards or business processes, leading external teams, and mentoring colleagues
  • Strong written communication and independent judgment
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship
