About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-level automated testing frameworks using Tricentis Tosca and other automation technologies.
  • Contribute to the organization's quality engineering strategy and align it with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase automation coverage, reduce testing cycle times, and enhance software quality.
  • Identify testing solutions, tools, and processes usable across multiple value streams and technology teams.
  • Partner with product, development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to design scalable automation solutions.
  • Establish and maintain automation standards, governance frameworks, and guardrails.
  • Provide guidance, training, and consultation to engineering teams adopting automation frameworks.
  • Mentor and coach QA engineers, automation engineers, and team members.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance for maintainable, scalable, and reusable automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with external vendors on testing expertise, capacity, and support.
  • Evaluate resource needs and recommend quality engineering capability strategies.
  • Define and enforce best practices for test automation, code quality, test data management, and quality engineering processes.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments with DevOps teams.
  • Analyze test coverage, identify gaps, and improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Define and execute testing strategies for complex applications, integrations, and enterprise systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, including experience leading complex automation initiatives.
  • Strong experience with additional automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supervising employees, including coaching, goal setting, development planning, feedback, and performance management.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, build alignment across teams, and translate quality strategy into practical execution plans.
  • Experience collaborating with vendor partners and managing resource capacity, delivery expectations, and knowledge transfer.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer; Certified Agile Test Leader (CATL); Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional; Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE).
