About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bookkeeping activities and support overall accounting functions
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries as required
- File and safeguard financial documents and records
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support reporting and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BS Accountancy) graduate
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related role
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
