About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute communication strategies for companywide initiatives across BWH Hotels’ 18 brands and more than 4,000 hotels worldwide
  • Serve as editor-in-chief of hotelier-facing newsletters
  • Draft and edit cross-functional newsletter content aligned with organizational goals
  • Create communications campaigns for leadership initiatives, including video scripts and change management communications
  • Draft communications with consistent messaging and brand voice
  • Manage internal communications workflow, stakeholder approvals, email campaigns and distribution lists
  • Support multiple executives’ LinkedIn strategies and annual content cadence
  • Use AI, analytics and engagement metrics to plan, execute, optimize and measure communications effectiveness
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify communication needs, develop project plans, establish deadlines and monitor progress
  • Manage multiple internal communications projects on time, within scope and aligned with business goals
  • Report on project outcomes and identify efficiencies and new tools or technologies
  • Stay current on communications trends and best practices and identify innovation opportunities
  • Report to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, public relations or marketing
  • BA/BS bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field (preferred experience and education)
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies
  • Proficiency with creative and design platforms such as Adobe Express, Canva and CapCut
  • Experience supporting executive leaders, including developing thought leadership content and executive communications strategies
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional writing, editing and strategic communication skills
  • Experience crafting compelling narratives across platforms
  • Experience handling complex, confidential projects with professionalism
  • Must reside in Arizona
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
  • Typical availability Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Arizona Time
