About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer service, expertise, and guidance to members purchasing furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Assess member needs and ensure design coordination and standards
- Analyze and review property improvement plans to develop courses of action
- Coordinate FF&E projects for organized and timely delivery and installation
- Obtain standard and custom price quotes from suppliers
- Negotiate supplier pricing when special circumstances arise
- Educate members on current company FF&E guidelines for existing, conversion, and new construction properties
- Maintain communication with member properties regarding quotes, product selection, orders, installations, and payments
- Provide guidance on policies and procedures
- Resolve defined problems and analyze successes and setbacks to find solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years related customer service, sales and/or purchasing experience
- High School diploma or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based business applications
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to work with large client base and on multiple projects
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with hotel members, internal departments, and suppliers
- Consultative selling and influencing skills with the ability to recommend solutions that align with member needs and company standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail in managing quotes, orders, installations, and member communications
- Familiar with company products and services and relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to the job
