About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with Sales Executives to understand customers’ goals and challenges
Conduct product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops for ANOW! Automate and ANOW! Observe
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into tailored solution concepts and implementation plans
Develop PoC use cases based on specific customer requirements
Participate in customer meetings to identify technical and business requirements at an early stage
Support the sales process, particularly by preparing responses to RFIs and RFPs
Collaborate with Support, R&D, Product Management, and Sales to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Systematically communicate customer feedback to the Sales and Product teams
Continuously expand knowledge of DevOps, DataOps, SOAP, observability, cloud technologies, and AI
Monitor market developments, competitors, and emerging technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field, or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant professional experience
Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer, in technical presales, consulting, or technical sales of enterprise software
Experience with APIs, REST integrations, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell
Sound knowledge of modern IT architectures
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
Knowledge of operating systems and IT security
In-depth knowledge of Automic, Control-M, or Airflow is a plus
Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog is a plus
Excellent German and English language skills
Ability to present complex technical content in a way appropriate to the target audience
Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
