About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Care for adult hematology/oncology patients in an ambulatory community hospital setting
  • Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Provide supportive care, including blood products and IVIG
  • Educate patients
  • Use strong vascular access skills with PIVs and IVADs
  • Float across campuses from infusion to navigation
  • Participate as part of the multidisciplinary Cancer Services team for Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced hematology-oncology RN preferred
  • Ambulatory hematology/oncology experience preferred
  • One year of experience with oncology populations preferred
  • Chemotherapy competency preferred
  • Current Massachusetts RN license required
  • BSN preferred
  • ONS Chemo Card required
  • BCLS required
  • OCN preferred or achieved within a year of hire
  • Must be able to care for adult hematology/oncology patients
  • Strong vascular access skills with PIV and IVADs
  • Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
