About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Virtualist Program five days per week from 4pm to 8pm, with one day off
- Assist in delivering high-quality, safe clinical care as part of a high-performing clinical team
- Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through collaborative patient care
- Work with healthcare providers on their daily needs and schedules
- Take patient vital signs
- Document medical history in the EMR system
- Provide patients and families with medical information
- Help ensure timely delivery of patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Critical thinking and good judgement
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Must work part-time five days per week, with one day off, from 4pm to 8pm
