About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all day-to-day operational and managerial duties for a high-volume, multi-provider Primary Care practice
- Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to promote outstanding medical care, service, and operational efficiency
- Develop staff through coaching, feedback, performance evaluations, and learning opportunities
- Support patient access, scheduling efficiency, quality customer service, and continuous process improvement
- Maintain relationships with staff, providers, and leaders and promote caregiver engagement
- Review data and metrics, lead change, and partner with Human Resources
- Interview, hire, develop, evaluate, schedule, and retain staff
- Implement policies and procedures and monitor compliance and revenue cycle processes
- Participate in annual budgeting and maintain expense controls
- Oversee patient charges, daily cash records, copays, payroll, supplies, inventory, facilities, and safety/infection control
- Coordinate provider schedules, on-call schedules, staffing coverage, meetings, and communication
- Act as liaison between support staff and providers
- Perform other duties as needed or directed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated management skills
- Two years of leadership experience in a physician office in a provider setting
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical record systems
- Strong overall computer skills
- Knowledge of third party billing and coding requirements
- Superior ability to communicate with all levels of staff and the provider community
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred
