About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide individualized, high-quality nursing care to patients and families
  • Develop culturally competent plans of care identifying patient problems, expected outcomes, and preventative measures
  • Perform systematic patient and family assessments
  • Deliver age-specific care
  • Evaluate care effectiveness and adapt plans based on patient/family response

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing
  • Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Necessary clinical skills and technical knowledge to provide patient care according to Nursing Policy and Procedures
  • Necessary clinical skills and knowledge to provide patient care according to unit-specific competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Current Massachusetts registered nurse license
  • Emergency Department: ACLS certification from American Heart Association and 1 year RN experience required; Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred
