About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
- Observe and supervise clients and unit
- Conduct 30-minute client well-being checks
- Conduct telephone admission screenings and other admissions duties
- Search client belongings on admission and discharge, or as directed by supervisor
- Complete checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Provide a positive presence for people struggling with addiction
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred
- Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
- Must work a minimum of two shifts a month and any available shift
- Staff must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment
