About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor client activities to ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu
  • Observe and supervise clients and the unit
  • Conduct 30-minute client well-being checks
  • Conduct telephone admission screenings and other admissions duties
  • Search client belongings on admission and discharge, or as directed by a supervisor
  • Complete checklists, shift documentation, and records in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Support men in early recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction through short-term residential services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience working with substance use population is preferred
  • Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred
  • Ability to work 40 hours full-time, Friday-Tuesday, 2:30-11p
  • Must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment
