About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and co-facilitate interactive groups focused on social-emotional skill-building, community integration, psychoeducation, and vocational preparation
- Deliver therapeutic intervention and group interventions directly within the community for youth and families
- Collaborate with other providers, natural supports, and families
- Provide and arrange transportation for clients to and from group activities
- Complete timely, accurate documentation
- Manage a flexible group schedule adapting to client needs
- Guide children and young adults ages 6–22 toward greater independence, self-confidence, and positive relationships
- Support conflict resolution and essential life-skills development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field from an accredited university or college
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, transition-aged youth, or families
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle
- Willingness to transport clients
- Afternoon, evening, and Saturday availability
- Creative, flexible, highly organized, compassionate, and motivated to help youth meet their goals
