About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide high-quality internal audits ensuring procedural and regulatory standards are met
Follow Internal Audit Policies and Procedures aligned with IIA International Standards
Assist Internal Audit leadership with maintaining compliant audit methodology, supporting materials, and oversight/governance structure
Participate in operational, regulatory compliance, and financial audits under the approved annual Internal Audit Plan
Assist with audit risk assessments, planning, and development of audit programs
Define audit scope and ensure procedures achieve scope completion
Conduct process walkthroughs and test key controls to evaluate internal-control effectiveness
Prepare organized audit workpapers, planning documents, engagement notifications, source documentation, flowcharts, walkthroughs, and control testing records
Assess audit results and develop implementable process-improvement recommendations
Prepare draft audit reports
Monitor remediation progress and perform remediation testing
Complete audit assignments within established timeframes
Develop a thorough understanding of company operations
Maintain effective relationships with business members
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, training, publications, and relevant certifications
Perform additional relevant responsibilities requested by the Internal Audit Manager
Travel to other locations for auditing and training purposes as required (<5%)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship
Must not require immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, or OPT
Must be licensed by at least one applicable jurisdictional gaming agency, with some positions requiring multiple agency licenses
Must comply with responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives
Ability to travel to other locations for auditing and training purposes as required (<5%)
Maintain or obtain relevant certifications
Knowledge of Internal Audit Policies and Procedures aligned with the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
