About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Split time between AI and automation projects (75%) and hands-on support (25%), working closely with support and product teams
Maintain and expand the internal knowledge base for Fin, the AI agent answering customer questions in Intercom
Write and update knowledge-base articles, verify facts with product owners, and keep content current
Review Fin conversations to identify failure patterns such as wrong answers, missing content, or dead ends
Fix root causes and test changes in Fin Operator or Betterbot before launch
Own Fin’s escalation, routing, and automation logic
Implement changes to alter bot behavior as needed
Answer user support requests directly and use customer questions to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Enrolled student based in Berlin
Available for around 20 hours per week
Hands-on experience building workflows in n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar; university and side projects count
Working understanding of how LLMs behave and where they tend to go wrong
Accuracy-oriented, with strong fact-checking ability
Self-sufficient and able to take ownership while remaining open to ideas and feedback
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Able to write clear, precise documentation
German is not required
Authorized to work in Germany or already holding a Job Seeker Visa
