About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own strategic partnerships across HCM platforms, technology platforms, consulting firms, and global systems integrators from origination through launch
  • Build the partner program from the ground up, including selection criteria, engagement processes, and operating structure
  • Build executive relationships with partner leadership focused on long-term business value
  • Define joint business plans with measurable pipeline, revenue, and market-expansion goals
  • Lead go-to-market planning for product launches into the partner ecosystem
  • Build co-sell motions that bring partners into the sales cycle earlier
  • Work with Sales to embed partners into account planning and strategic pursuits
  • Work with Marketing and Product Marketing on joint messaging, case studies, and campaign assets
  • Build partner enablement programs for partner sales teams
  • Run recurring partner operating cadences, executive business reviews, and quarterly planning
  • Surface partner feedback and ecosystem trends to leadership
  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to resolve partner issues and inform product and GTM decisions
  • Define and track partner-health metrics, including partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced revenue, and executive engagement
  • Report to the SVP, Channel Partnerships; no direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience managing technology partnerships or channel go-to-market motions
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior and C-level executives at partner companies
  • Experience launching partner go-to-market programs, including co-sell motions and joint account planning
  • Experience working cross-functionally across sales, marketing, product, and operations
  • Drive functional strategy for AI adoption, identifying transformational opportunities that create competitive advantage
  • Transform core business processes through strategic AI integration, such as marketing automation, sales intelligence, and operations efficiency
  • Experience partnering with major technology platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Workday, and SAP
  • Experience in the HR technology or workforce transformation space
  • Experience building partner enablement programs from the ground up
  • Ability to work from a local office at least 2 days per week or 8 days per month if located near a US hub
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client engagements in the hybrid model, or up to 50% for client engagements and internal BetterUp purposes in the fully remote model
