About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect for new clients, focusing on Japanese companies with industrial and manufacturing operations in Brazil, using networking, phone, email, events, and business visits
  • Develop a prospect and new-account portfolio by identifying opportunities and building the sales pipeline from the initial prospecting stages
  • Identify client needs and present B2B solutions related to industrial utility systems, HVAC, compressed air, energy, and energy efficiency
  • Prepare customized presentations, commercial proposals, and quotations in collaboration with technical teams and partner companies
  • Follow opportunities through to the client’s decision
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations to open and develop new accounts
  • Build relationships with existing clients through visits and regular communication, identifying additional opportunities
  • Propose and coordinate pilot projects and Proofs of Concept (POCs)
  • Coordinate clients, engineering firms, consultancies, equipment suppliers, and other partners
  • Work with group companies and partners to develop proposals for new solutions and projects
  • Conduct client visits and business travel throughout Brazil

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a diploma valid and recognized in Brazil
  • Experience in B2B sales, new-client prospecting, and conducting commercial negotiations
  • Fluent Portuguese and Japanese, including reading, writing, and speaking
  • Willingness and availability to travel
  • Availability for hybrid work, with two days per week in person in São Paulo’s South Zone
  • Preferred: experience in consultative sales of technical solutions for industrial companies, especially HVAC/climate control, compressed air, electrical systems, power generation and energy efficiency, water treatment, automation, industrial utilities, or EPC projects
  • Preferred: commercial experience with Japanese companies in Brazil, particularly industrial companies
  • Preferred: advanced English for professional communication
