Key responsibilities & impact

Launch and support Entitle, BeyondTrust’s Just-In-Time Access Management system
Design, develop, deliver, and maintain a cloud-based software solution using modern orchestration technologies
Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient backend components, services, and orchestration
Deliver user experiences for complex API-based integrations
Contribute to system design and provide technical leadership for increasingly complex projects
Review functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate ideas with cross-functional teams
Take end-to-end ownership of results individually and as part of a team
Apply engineering best practices to ensure high quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years’ experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems
Solid understanding of modern design patterns
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
Experience with the full development lifecycle, including product release in an agile environment
Experience working on an Agile team in a continuous integration and development environment
Hands-on experience architecting and developing backend services
Proficiency in Python with deep understanding of OOP, system design, networks, and Linux
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
Experience with RabbitMQ, S3, ClickHouse, Airflow, Spark, and Elasticsearch
Experience connecting to API services with limited functionality or scalability
Experience developing scalable microservices architectures
Experience with performance optimization for backend components running in cloud and on-premises environments
Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery strategies
Understanding of monitoring and alerting strategies
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools
Ability to work flexibly, handle ambiguity, and adapt to shifting situations and requirements
Understanding of software development best practices, testing paradigms, peer code reviews, and resilient architectures
