About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with assigned agencies and producers
  • Understand each agency’s book, opportunities, challenges, and potential with THREE
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to achieve or exceed production targets
  • Identify opportunities within the assigned book and initiate sales conversations
  • Maintain a disciplined sales cadence through agency check-ins, onboarding conversations, business reviews, and activation efforts
  • Generate strong, qualified submission activity
  • Follow up on submissions and move opportunities through the sales pipeline from quotes to binds
  • Analyze territory performance across the funnel and adjust sales strategies
  • Use CRM, pipeline, submission, conversion, and production data to prioritize agencies and opportunities
  • Analyze wins, losses, and production friction
  • Capture competitive, product, underwriting, and agency feedback
  • Partner with Underwriting while maintaining ownership of the sales relationship
  • Execute team and department initiatives within assigned agencies
  • Meet or exceed assigned production goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Commercial insurance and independent agency experience are required
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance, agency sales, or a related sales role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in internal agency management, developing new business, and driving measurable sales results
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, quoting, and the submission-to-bind process
  • High personal accountability, strong bias toward action, and ability to solve problems independently
  • Ability to sell differentiated product value, not simply relationships, price, or familiarity
  • Ability to respond to challenges with curiosity, urgency, and action
