About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of Billtrust’s curated executive event program across the U.S. and Western Europe
  • Map event seats to live sales cycles or named expansion targets in partnership with Sales, Revenue Operations, and the CRO’s organization
  • Manage vendor sourcing, venue contracting, invitations, guest-list curation, executive host coordination, on-site execution, and post-event follow-through
  • Lead planning and execution of the annual Sales Kickoff and other major internal events
  • Plan customer- and prospect-facing product launches, advisory sessions, and innovation showcases with Product Marketing and Product leadership
  • Develop customer events with the CCO organization and customer lifecycle marketing manager
  • Create strategic presence at industry events and develop sponsorship standards to maximize ROI
  • Serve as the internal center of excellence for event standards, templates, and runbooks
  • Hire, develop, and lead a growing team of field marketers
  • Drive AI adoption across the team’s planning and reporting workflows
  • Track pipeline acceleration, install-base expansion, and cost-per-senior-executive-engaged
  • Report event program results to the CMO and CRO
  • Manage the full events budget and make data-informed investment and reallocation recommendations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, event management, or demand generation, with a focus on senior executive audiences
  • Proven track record planning and executing intimate, high-touch executive events
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, CRO, Product, and C-suite stakeholders
  • Track record driving AI adoption across team workflows
  • Experience using AI tools to automate logistics, generate personalized communications, synthesize post-event data, and improve program efficiency
  • Experience managing and growing a team, including hiring, coaching, and setting performance expectations
  • Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills
  • Preferred: Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Splash, Cvent, HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms
  • Preferred: Experience planning events in Western Europe
  • Preferred: Background coordinating large-scale internal events and managing multiple concurrent programs
