About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Billtrust’s implementation business across Project Management and Business Analysis teams
- Lead Engagement and Practice leaders and ensure excellence in service delivery across consulting engagements and customer implementations
- Set standards for quality, consistency, and continuous improvement
- Use AI tools to improve operational visibility, delivery forecasting, and team efficiency
- Provide leadership across the Professional Services Organization to deliver customer value and drive product and usage expansion
- Ensure projects meet client requirements and achieve high customer satisfaction and reference-ability
- Drive process improvement and innovation to increase customer ROI and ensure quality and consistency
- Serve as an escalation point for Professional Services delivery issues
- Own the Professional Services department P&L, revenue and profit budgets, financial performance, and forecasting
- Advance Professional Services capabilities through process improvements, tooling, partnerships, and automation
- Support selling efforts, including pitching engagements, negotiating agreements, and contributing to SOW creation
- Recruit, manage, and coach managers and individual contributors
- Partner with Customer Support & Success, Finance, Sales, Product, and Development on customer satisfaction and growth
- Develop methodologies, rules of engagement, contracts, and operational frameworks
- Develop new business and nurture existing client relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-9+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years leading cross-functional Professional Services teams
- 3+ years delivering projects and selling services in software/SaaS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success in facilitation and cross-functional stakeholder engagement
- Excellent client management instincts and ability to build effective working relationships with client partners
- P&L ownership experience with accountability for Professional Services revenue, margin, and forecasting
- Proven ability to develop methodologies and operational frameworks that differentiate Professional Services delivery
- Track record driving AI adoption across a Professional Services team
- Degree or postgraduate degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Experience in order-to-cash, fintech, or B2B SaaS environments (preferred)
- Track record using AI-powered tools to improve delivery forecasting, operational visibility, and Professional Services organization efficiency (preferred)
