About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and implement complex enhancements and incremental updates to Veeva Vault RIM, including adding additional modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to align requirements and development work, reducing errors and rework
  • Work with the IT System Owner to implement a strategic application roadmap supporting business and functional objectives
  • Translate business requirements into Veeva RIM functional and solution specifications
  • Provide impact analysis on current configurations and dependencies to ensure solution fitness
  • Develop and facilitate strategies for system, data, and application integration
  • Identify, design, and implement interfaces supporting business requirements
  • Provide oversight and mentor development teams
  • Manage internal and external third-party technical resources performing analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment
  • Research emerging technologies, including AI, and provide guidance on technology trends and best practices
  • Test new applications and releases and recommend feature enhancements
  • Develop, roll out, and support business and application services
  • Support M&A and divestiture activities by extracting or importing data into target systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including 2 years in Veeva RIM administration and service delivery
  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
  • Expert technical knowledge of RIM platforms, preferably with relevant certifications
  • Proven expertise in data analytics, reporting, and dashboarding tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in RIM
  • Experience in user and application support
  • Familiarity with incident and change management processes
  • Understanding of SAFe Agile framework
  • Strong communication skills to work both with business leaders and IT teams
  • Experience in SLA management
  • Understanding of middleware, SFTP, Single Sign-On, and enterprise architecture concepts
